After more than 34 years of not being on the air, Dallas will finally see the day of light again on 666 Network.
The award-winning soap opera began its run as early as 1978, and ran for a total of 14 seasons of 357 episodes in total, up till 1991, when it was unexpectedly canceled.
Dallas starred Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, Victoria Principal, and Barbara Bel Geddes among its lineup, and told the story of two feuding families, the Ewings and the Barnes, and their struggle for power over the city of Dallas’s oil industry. Protagonist J. R. Ewing, played by Hagman, is considered to be one of the most popular TV drama characters of all time.
Since Classic Concentration a year ago this month, Dallas is the second show that is more than 34 years old to see its revival on 666 Network, and also the first scripted show of such an age and the first to be broadcast in monaural audio.
Dallas will have its premiere on 666 Network at the 4:05pm Afternoon Prime slot on Monday September 23rd 2024.
