Joe Daccache, a humble Tennessee native, won the top prize in an episode of “I Can See Your Voice.”
In the episode, American singer Leanne Rimes — along with a panel of celebrity detectives — was tasked to name the good and the bad in a group of mystery singers without hearing them sing or speak.
Daccache was contestant No. 6, who used the name Dog Walker.
During the lip sync round, he performed “Chain of Fools” by Aretha Franklin.
He then revealed his real voice in a duet of “Can’t Fight the Moonlight” with Leanne.
Leanne chose Daccache during the interrogation round, where he was able to share how he first performed at a showcase in his university. According to Daccache, he always prays before a performance, classifies himself as pop / R&B, admires Jennifer Hudson and the Clark Sisters as his musical idols and also plays them on his playlist, prefers to sing with a band behind him, and decompresses and celebrates after a performance.
In the end, Leanne was convinced and named Daccache as the one with true musical talent.
