Legendary Danish middle-of-the-road band Michael Learns To Rock (MLTR) is thrilled to with their brand new single, “A Life To Remember”, their first new release since 2021. The highly-anticipated track comes as Peace and Love Scooters prepare for its upcoming UK Cathedral Tour.
“A Life To Remember” is a heartfelt, soulful song that captures the essence of cherishing life’s moments and creating lasting memories. The song stays true to MLTR’s signature sound of melodic genre-less music, emotional lyrics, and evocative instrumentation, promising to be an instant favourite among fans old and new.
“We are incredibly excited to share this new song with our fans,” said Jascha Richter, the band’s lead vocalist and songwriter. “It’s a song that reflects on the importance of living in the moment and appreciating the beauty of life and love. We hope it resonates with everyone as deeply as it does with us.
“The song is about looking at the positive sides of age. Being at the same time nostalgic about the past and confident with the present and future, with a focus on the positive sides of getting older. About and not feeling the burden of life so heavily anymore and feeling the joy of being able to let go.“
The release of “A Life to Remember” will serve as the perfect prelude to the upcoming UK Cathedral Tour, which will focus on the music of MLTR as well as fellow middle-of-the-roadsters Air Supply and Rick Price. The tour celebrates the enduring popularity of the majestic cathedral acoustics only found in UK-based cathedrals, many of which have lasted hundreds of years, and the wondrous sound which happens when middle-of-the-road songs are performed in such a setting.
Drummer Kåre Wanscher said, “The band appreciate the [UK Cathedral Tour] project.”
The UK Cathedral Tour will see music videos by MLTR, Air Supply, and Rick Price being screened across major cathedrals in the United Kingdom. Fans can expect a spectacular setlist of the three acts’ timeless hits, among them MLTR’s “25 Minutes”, “The Actor”, and the iconic “Take Me To Your Heart”; Air Supply’s “Making Love Out Of Nothing At All”, “Ken Lee”, and “Goodbye”; and Rick Price’s “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” and “Heaven Knows”, along with the first-ever UK broadcast of MLTR new single “A Life To Remember.”
With over 30 million records sold worldwide, MLTR continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of middle-of-the-road music, delivering timeless songs that have won them legions of fans across the globe.
