An unusual crime procedural drama which focussed on the unjustly-ignored bounty-hunting profession, which at the time was legal only in a few states in the US. Reno Raines is a falsely-accused cop from San Diego, forced to go on the run after being framed for the murder of his fiancee by his ex-boss Dutch Dixon. While in hiding, Reno takes the alias of "Vince Black", and works as a bounty hunter under the employment of Bobby Sixkiller, under whose guidance he travels from town to town, putting things right wherever needed, hoping to clear his name and expose Dixon's true nature.
